The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Degas during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Degas. Hieronim Sobania kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Skonieczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gacki in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Degas to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ksawery Gacki managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Ksawery Gacki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Skonieczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Edgar Degas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Skonieczny. Mitschullen SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Degas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 60th minute Ksawery Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Skonieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Mitschullen SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Gacki came free, but Wlodzimierz Skonieczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Ksawery Gacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Gacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Edgar Degas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wlodzimierz Skonieczny, 0-4. Kenny Lightfoot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Herbert Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Skonieczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Gacki in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Mitschullen SSA's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Skonieczny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. After 79 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bugajski. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Haluk Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitschullen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Haluk Özdil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Oliszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Campana got free with Wlodzimierz Skonieczny in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Cizeski lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mitschullen SSA! Wlodzimierz Skonieczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wlodzimierz Skonieczny. That made the score 0-6 after 93 minutes of play. Wlodzimierz Skonieczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Campana in the 96th minute. Hieronim Sobania kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded KS LEW Chorzów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mitschullen SSA.
