FC Caspiy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Baiseitov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Hurtado in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Caspiy's zone, Mario Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Baiseitov came out of the goal and Mario Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Yakin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Januario Mendoza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Mario Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Baiseitov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Rio Bulgaria FC's Jhonnatan Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipp Debabov in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Mario Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Martyn Baiseitov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rio Bulgaria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rio Bulgaria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
