The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Sobania in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Domeradzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincenty Puchlik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Žiška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Wiktoria Zajafka's goalkeeper Sylwester Domeradzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Sobania. In the 17th minute, Edward Buczko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 played minutes Wiktoria Zajafka got a freekick which was hit by Martin Žiška. Wiktoria Zajafka made a substitution. Patrik Tørnstrøm replaced Cyryl Kiepski. Martin Žiška kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Sobania got free with Sylwester Domeradzki in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wincenty Puchlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Žiška in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Wiktoria Zajafka's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Sobania came free, but Sylwester Domeradzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soczewki Gliwice's Wincenty Puchlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Žiška in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lech Warka during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lech Warka kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Bogumil Babicki got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience held their breath when Herbert Lizewski in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Wincenty Puchlik's left hand side. If Tomasz Sobania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Sobania made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Sobania in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Domeradzki saved Wiktoria Zajafka from getting behind. In the 53rd minute of the match Soczewki Gliwice got a corner. Wiktoria Zajafka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Tscherner ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wiktoria Zajafka made a substitution. Artur Kissel replaced Andrzej Pluciennik. Edward Buczko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Wiktoria Zajafka's Martin Žiška nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wincenty Puchlik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Soczewki Gliwice's Zdzislaw Witek was substituted for Adam Dziurowicz. Wiktoria Zajafka's Korneliusz Sobania was substituted for Herbert Lizewski. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Zdzislaw Witek with Lech Warka as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wincenty Puchlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Žiška, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Tomasz Sobania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Domeradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Kissel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Wincenty Puchlik made a huge save. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soczewki Gliwice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Josué Lucena was slow to take the kick. During this time Wiktoria Zajafka's players had a chance to rest. Korneliusz Sobania made a great header on Wiktoria Zajafka's corner, it was just that Soczewki Gliwice's Wincenty Puchlik managed to reach the ball for a save. Sylwester Domeradzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Buczko in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Tomasz Sobania left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soczewki Gliwice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Wiktoria Zajafka's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Soczewki Gliwice had won, even though Wiktoria Zajafka had held more of the ball.
