Eulalio Eder made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Esteban Aguirre immediately put the ball in play. Academia NOFX's Hernán Pajot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Beturian in the 8th minute of play. When Gaueko Nanclares came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaueko Nanclares couldn't finish the play. Felix Beat made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Eduardo De Matteis sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernán Pajot having to interfere. Gaueko Nanclares might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernán Pajot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaueko Nanclares ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Academia NOFX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Momentum FC:s goal. Academia NOFX:s Hernán Pajot showed great skill when he stopped Gaueko Nanclares:s penalty. Hernán Pajot came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares. But to his dismay, Gaueko Nanclares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaueko Nanclares scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernán Pajot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 33rd minute of play forced Academia NOFX's goalkeeper Hernán Pajot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Galeano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Eduardo De Matteis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eduardo De Matteis's late challenge caught a Momentum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo De Matteis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Academia NOFX's Eduardo De Matteis got a free kick in the 36th minute. Felix Beat was a little too slow when Eduardo De Matteis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-2. After the first half Momentum FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Loria to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Momentum FC's Hernán Pajot threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaueko Nanclares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute, Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gaueko Nanclares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaueko Nanclares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernán Pajot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Academia NOFX's Hernán Pajot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Academia NOFX from getting a goal against them. Hernán Pajot made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gaueko Nanclares sent off a good shot on target. Felix Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo De Matteis in the 71st minute of play. Eduardo De Matteis got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 73rd minute, Eduardo De Matteis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Academia NOFX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo De Matteis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes, Gaueko Nanclares made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Academia NOFX's Hernán Pajot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Ricardo Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia NOFX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Momentum FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academia NOFX's Ricardo Hernandez got a free kick in the 81st minute. Academia NOFX's Hernán Pajot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the game Lucas Segio made a throw-in which Johan Loria played forward. Carlos Auzqui came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hernán Pajot could save by the left post. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia NOFX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvano Gentza was slow to take the kick. During this time Momentum FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Silvano Gentza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia NOFX's Hernán Pajot did a great save. Momentum FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
