When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sven-Edvin Dalgren sped through Cachiyuyo EAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melchor Calixto. Melchor Calixto made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Antonio Ubarna sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Raymond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Telesforo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Dacio. In the 27th minute, Carolo Indalecio made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Calixto. Cachiyuyo EAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 32nd minute of the game Gabriel Dacio made a throw-in which Anísio Cosme played forward. Francisco Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Telesforo in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Cachiyuyo EAS were awarded a corner. Froilan Ponc went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Honorio Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Honorio Telesforo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Raymond was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Flor. Melchor Calixto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. Eleuterio Joachim struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Francisco Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachiyuyo EAS. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Joachim in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Froilan Ponc was slow to take the kick. During this time Cachiyuyo EAS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cachiyuyo EAS's corner Froilan Ponc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Raymond quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Telesforo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Dalgren notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Cachiyuyo EAS's Melchor Calixto. Melchor Calixto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Dalgren came free, but Melchor Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cachiyuyo EAS's Melchor Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ubarna in the 78th minute of play.
