But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Porajewski couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Silvinho da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Almeida's late challenge caught a Inter Miami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nhungarinthians getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ivo Almeida hit a great ball. Inter Miami's Ludomil Banas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nhungarinthians. After 16 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Patryk Banaszak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Slawomir Bambas could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Wilian Baptista however easily saved by the left post. When Henrique Batista fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nhungarinthians's protests and gave Henrique Batista a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Nhungarinthians got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Batista. 28 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's Ksawery Porajewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Inter Miami's Ksawery Porajewski in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nhungarinthians's goalie prevented a goal. After 31 minutes, Edinho Prado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nhungarinthians and the Inter Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nhungarinthians getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edinho Prado hit a great ball. Wilian Baptista was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ludomil Banas. Wilian Baptista was a little too slow when Wilfredo Ebardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. After 47 played minutes Nhungarinthians got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Batista. In the 48th minute of the match Ludomil Banas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilian Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enéas Fontes made a kick off. When Inter Miami's Ksawery Porajewski in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nhungarinthians's goalie prevented a goal. Wilian Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ksawery Porajewski went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ivo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes, Inter Miami's Ludomil Banas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilian Baptista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Miami reached it. Inter Miami's Wojciech Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Fontes in the 66th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ksawery Porajewski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Nhungarinthians's Wilian Baptista. Wilian Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Patryk Banaszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Nhungarinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Fontes to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ebardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Porajewski in the 92nd minute of play forced Nhungarinthians's goalkeeper Wilian Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Slawomir Bambas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Nhungarinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Ebardo came free, but Wilian Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter Miami were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nhungarinthians for a fine match.
