With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. After 10 minutes LA DEL MONO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inocencio Ramirez who took care of the corner kick. RB Chubut's Qian Yu Ao was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Betadur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Andrézinho Pelé sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Betadur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 22nd minute Cosme Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Zhuo Sha Le. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. RB Chubut were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after LA DEL MONO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inocencio Ramirez took the corner. The corner ended in Inocencio Ramirez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur did a great save. 32 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Betadur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Andrézinho Pelé came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the RB Chubut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Pelé couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Betadur. Fabio Betadur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Zhuo Sha Le kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Andrézinho Pelé might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Betadur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho Pelé ran back to his position shaking his head.

RB Chubut's Adrian Cristos was substituted for Inocencio Ramirez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niles Moran was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Qian Yu Ao got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adrian Cristos hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Octavio Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niles Moran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, LA DEL MONO's Nicanor Haitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paco Zamora. Paco Zamora yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 70th minute, Niles Moran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Niles Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niles Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. RB Chubut's Niles Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Niles Moran made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When RB Chubut's Niles Moran in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA DEL MONO's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Adrian Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niles Moran in the 91st minute of play. Many of LA DEL MONO's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LA DEL MONO may have spent more time on the ball, but RB Chubut were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
