The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Czeslaw Kossakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Florian Kapinos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 17 minutes into the match, Zagórna's Ertan Duman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ömür Seyfeddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Marian Gniech made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. Zagórna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grzegorz Jankowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Roman Kon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marian Gniech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ertan Duman scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Arendarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertan Duman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uluç Tekinalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fabian Arendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ertan Duman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Duman in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ziemowit Soszka had to leave the field with a concussion. When Ömür Seyfeddin fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's protests and gave Ömür Seyfeddin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zagórna booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömür Seyfeddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertan Duman to make the kick off. Edgar Scislowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Marcu Voinea hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Duman in the 94th minute of play. The Zagórna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zagórna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
