Murat Oncu started the match with the kick off. Coelho FC's Rodriguinho Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余义枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Hermes in the 16th minute of play forced islahiye spor's goalkeeper Rainer Seltorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodriguinho Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rainer Seltorp. islahiye spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 76th minute, Eriberto Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Paulo Renato Novaes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Murat Oncu in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 79thth minute of the game Murat Oncu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. islahiye spor were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Coelho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Green took the corner. Rainer Seltorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Peres in the 81st minute of play. Rainer Seltorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Coelho FC were the better team. Coelho FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
