The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Sengrat came free, but Cornelio Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hipolito Cordario hit a great ball. Mauricio Mattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unidad de Matanza's Cornelio Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Truylos in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Hipolito Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Dante Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidad de Matanza's Cornelio Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Toribio in the 25th minute of play. If Hipolito Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Rios in the 30th minute of play. Cornelio Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Natalio Galo hit a great ball. Unidad de Matanza's Cornelio Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Truylos in the 39th minute of play. Leo Nerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Unidad de Matanza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Kakeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Arturo Baraquiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Truylos made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Arturo Baraquiel made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Mattin. Kakeros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Mateo Urritz put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unidad de Matanza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Truylos was slow to take the kick. During this time Kakeros FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Evaristo Truylos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cornelio Pueblo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Fero to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Leo Nerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mauricio Mattin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hipolito Cordario succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 94th match minute, Kakeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Truylos to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepe Ordaz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Ordaz. When the referee ended the match the Unidad de Matanza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
