ATLETICO MENDOZA's Serafin Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Baladi in the 19th minute of play. Florencio Berbiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Frisco in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute, Justino Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Florencio Berbiz managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when ATLETICO MENDOZA's Claudio Eudoxio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Baladi to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Estevez in the 33rd minute of play. Serafin Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Javiero in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Frasco. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ATLETICO MENDOZA:s goal. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb:s Florencio Berbiz showed great skill when he stopped Justino Estevez:s penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

56 minutes into the match, Higinio Frisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Berbiz. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Frisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Javiero got free with Serafin Ralondo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Claudio Eudoxio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Berbiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Berbiz having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Claudio Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Javiero's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Serafin Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute of the match, Efrain Baladi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafin Ralondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Conrado Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Efrain Baladi charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Baladi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Florencio Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Frisco's late challenge caught a Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Frisco helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Frisco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
