Rigan Frankson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Klimkiewicz having to make a save. Rigan Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Klimkiewicz having to interfere. Torrey Molloy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Klimkiewicz having to interfere. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by CRS Pogoń Barlinek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnold McDecland was slow to take the kick. During this time 1948 MKS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy to fire away a dangerous shot which Roland Klimkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Dziurowicz in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Fryderyk Domeradzki in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell. Rigan Frankson might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Klimkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigan Frankson ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincent Rode stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ter Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Adamczak in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Rigan Frankson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Klimkiewicz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Klimkiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Duszenski in the 78th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stegen was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Herbert Duszenski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Duszenski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Roland Klimkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Gaston Mon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ter Stegen but with some difficulty. Ter Stegen was a little too slow when Herbert Duszenski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-2.
