The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anthon Billing. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. With a little luck, STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing got control of the ball when Norbert Major tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Norbert Major who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norbert Major in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthon Billing, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Major got free with Anthon Billing in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthon Billing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthon Billing. Anthon Billing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Major in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthon Billing saved STARGARD FC from getting behind. After 24 minutes STARGARD FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrado Donzel who took care of the corner kick. Darko Pančev made a great header on Pogoń Szczecin's corner, it was just that STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing managed to reach the ball for a save. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Belzner in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Billing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Richárd Nyilasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Xoxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 39 minutes into the match, Norbert Major had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthon Billing. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Major in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthon Billing saved STARGARD FC from getting behind. Pogoń Szczecin's Conrado Donzel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elard Braun-Seitz, made in the 64th minute of the game. Norbert Major blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthon Billing having to make a save. Anthon Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The STARGARD FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthon Billing should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Norbert Major's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthon Billing was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Anthon Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darko Pančev in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Norbert Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthon Billing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
