The Pogoń Szczecin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Torrey Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Xoxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 1948 MKS were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Pogoń Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aban McBjarton took the corner. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Pogoń Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Major in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Norbert Major who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torrey Molloy made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Doris. Rigan Frankson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sebastião Xoxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Norbert Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Robert Matthews got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Major came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefanos Stefanopoulos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
