Eris Defaye was slow to take the kick. During this time Mochila FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eris Defaye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serginho Nogueira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frederico Madureira made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Baturhan Oytun sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederico Madureira. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. After 22 minutes, Baturhan Oytun made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baturhan Oytun came free, but Frederico Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Guga Trancoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira did a great save. Mochila FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demis Katsarolidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on PIAUÍ FC's corner Demis Katsarolidis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederico Madureira quite easily take care of the ball. Baturhan Oytuns short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Frederico Madureira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 96th minute, Baturhan Oytun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. The PIAUÍ FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
