Ali Kağan Erol kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tomé Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tomé Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin da Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dário Martins hit a great ball. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomé Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ali Kağan Erol kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Benjamin da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Fabian Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Souza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremias Orland. Pesqueira City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Pesqueira City's Tomé Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 46 minutes on the clock, Dedé Paiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Alcântara made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ali Kağan Erol got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 57th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Vianna made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ronaldo Alcântara immediately put the ball in play. 63 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for João Francisco Tande. Dário Martins was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dário Martins hit a great ball. Pesqueira City's Oséias Sabóia was substituted for Benjamin da Fonseca. Oséias Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Montenegro having to interfere. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Sabóia in the 83rd minute of play. Oséias Sabóia took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Montenegro. Tomé Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Sabóia in the 87th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias Sabóia took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Montenegro. Tomé Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Oséias Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Oséias Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pesqueira City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
