Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Sousa in the 4th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Prata in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Guerra during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 9th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valdemar Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's protests and gave Valdemar Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. Valdemar Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Leonardo Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Chico de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Prata's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 33rd minute of play. Norberto Prata took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 36 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Tepedino. 40 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Prata came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Tepedino in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Leonardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjörg Wastl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Ruy de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Mümtazer Kutlan got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mümtazer Kutlan hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fabiano Sena. Elano Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Schmidt in the 66th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by He Jing. Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang was substituted for Chico de Sousa. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Naldo Valladares hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Schmidt in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 95th minute of the match. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Li Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
