The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Niceto Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 17th minute of play. Boguslaw Makarewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ergo Muro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 22nd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 39th minute of the match. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ergo Muro made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Benson Beverley sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nilton Brito hit a great ball. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 48th minute of play. In the 50th minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Gaby Milito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fahl Figueroa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Paraíba in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Sílvio Luiz Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Mestre GG got a corner. Caatiba MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Álvaro Paraíba ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Benson Beverley to score against Ergo Muro in Caatiba MZC's goal. 2-0 after 59 minutes. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mestre GG from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, Boguslaw Makarewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergo Muro came out of the goal and Boguslaw Makarewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benson Beverley in the 80th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu.
