Marcus Paes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 43 minutes, Ruy de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jovens Democratas MZC and the Campestre AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Leonardo Guerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Pedro Nogueira. José Pedro Nogueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marcus Paes made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Teixeira during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Campestre AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Paes took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro Nogueira. José Pedro Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Vítor Lenzi was substituted for Marcus Paes. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny was substituted for Jerome Rohrer. 71 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Vítor Lenzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Pedro Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Luciano Pontes lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Jovens Democratas MZC a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonardo Guerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Campestre AC's José Pedro Nogueira. 9-0. In the 84thth minute of the game Vítor Lenzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campestre AC's José Pedro Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Duda Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dalmo Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vítor Lenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Campestre AC's zone, Vítor Lenzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Nogueira came out of the goal and Vítor Lenzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th match minute, Campestre AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Penha to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Zagrodny, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Clemente Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jovens Democratas MZC fully deserved thier win.
