Chiquinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pesqueira City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Zagrodny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88th play minutes Sebastião Quintal shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Dalmo Saldanha and just under the crossbar into goal. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Bezerra in the 91st minute of the match. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Sebastião Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dalmo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
