The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şansal Mahçupyan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The HHH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by HHH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emrullah Toygun was slow to take the kick. During this time GALATASARAY O.Z.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on GALATASARAY O.Z.'s corner Burhan Tezcan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Derya Güdeş quite easily take care of the ball. Burhan Tezcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well-hit corner resulted in Burhan Tezcan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 40 minutes into the match, HHH's goalkeeper Derya Güdeş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökçen Kulan.

GALATASARAY O.Z.'s attentive Baki Koyas managed to snatch the ball when Taci Akağan made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 86th minute GALATASARAY O.Z. were awarded a corner. Emrullah Toygun went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Reşat Rafettin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Baturhan Osmanlı got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Derya Güdeş handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The GALATASARAY O.Z. fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Baturhan Osmanlı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute, Hüsrev Kutam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that GALATASARAY O.Z. were the better team.
