In the 11th minute, Björn Walmarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Lundström in the 43rd minute of play forced Cash Is King's goalkeeper Tiger Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiger Saron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Tillman in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Big Boy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Söderström was the one to do the kick off.
