After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Östen Vennersten got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th match minute, Sjötorp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, MAFFIAN's Mats Wilander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Fagrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MAFFIAN reached it. Greger Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Pazura in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Mariusz Pazura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjötorp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariusz Pazura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariusz Pazura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Nicklas Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Pazura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariusz Pazura during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Sjötorp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Pazura to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Lindqvist in the 47th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Frisk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Pazura in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Sjötorp IF booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Nicklas Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sjötorp IF defense, Pete Sampras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Fagrell. The Sjötorp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Fagrell should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Greger Broberg. Aron Dahlbom made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nicklas Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. Pete Sampras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Roger Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Börje Frisk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Zeng Chao Zhen fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sjötorp IF's protests and gave Zeng Chao Zhen a yellow card for diving instead. Roger Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Vennersten in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Nicklas Lindqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sjötorp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sjötorp IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
