The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristian Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Eklund in the 22nd minute of play forced Torekov's goalkeeper Kristian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torekov's Kristian Albom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Torekov from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Bengt Termander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ivar Utfal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Markus Albäck rounded Torekov's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Kristian Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Albäck in the 43rd minute of the match. Kristian Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Utfal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when Torekov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Torekov's goalie and right to Albert Vennerlund. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Torekov's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tim Sjögren hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Bengt Termander made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Edwin Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 69th minute, Bengt Termander made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Magnus Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes of play, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Markus Albäck made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kjell Lövkvist hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Ersman came free, but Magnus Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Termander in the 96th minute of play forced Torekov's goalkeeper Kristian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lite Finare Lite Bättre fully deserved thier win.
