The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Eskil Gustafsson in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Preator Edikt's Bernt Larsson. Steve Yzerman charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Yzerman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Juoksengi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Steve Yzerman hit a great ball. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Gustavo Barbosa in the 9th minute. Nicanor Osoro tried in the 10th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Roland Lindström a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Nicanor Osoro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Juoksengi's Roland Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Barbosa in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Tătaru in the 20th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Roland Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Preator Edikt defense, Martin Odén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Hellström. The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Hellström should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Horia Tătaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Lindström was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 minutes of play, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Lindström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Martin Odén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juoksengi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Juoksengi's Karl-Erik Magnusson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preator Edikt's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Odén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Preator Edikt's Jim Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Magnusson in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Hake to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Martin Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Albert Örnberg in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Juoksengi's Samuel Utter. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Odén in the 54th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jim Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Samuel Utter got a free kick in the 56th minute. Preator Edikt's Joseph Nordlander was substituted for Torbjörn Nilsson. After 60 minutes, Eskil Gustafsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juoksengi and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eskil Gustafsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jim Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juoksengi's goalkeeper Roland Lindström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wiktor Utter charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Utter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Wiktor Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Juoksengi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Utter to maneuver through the defense. Martin Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jim Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 80 in the game by Martin Odén from a close distance when the talented Jim Hellström managed to make a qualified save. Preator Edikt's players were relieved. Jim Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 81 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Odén came free, but Jim Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juoksengi's Jan-Olof Vacker managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stig-Arne Hake in the 82 minute of the game. Roland Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hellström having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Michael Stor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Roland Lindström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juoksengi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Preator Edikt.
