The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Ennegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of AC United booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. AC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Carlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Glad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Löfdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Glad having to interfere. Vejbystrand's Kurt Westerberg was substituted for Harald Ennegren. Fredric Örtendahl's late challenge caught a AC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Örtendahl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AC United booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of AC United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AC United may have spent more time on the ball, but Vejbystrand were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
