In the 8th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Avram Mititelu hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Remus Pinczewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leontin Mandoiu. 16 minutes into the game, Leontin Mandoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remus Pinczewski. Leontin Mandoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 21 minutes, Ernest Todoran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LIVIUS UNITED MLS and the MIT Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Ernest Todoran got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emil Glodeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Tutunaru having to interfere. After taking down the ball on LIVIUS UNITED MLS's corner Leontin Mandoiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Remus Pinczewski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Bocaneț to maneuver through the defense. MIT Craiova's Remus Pinczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Todoran in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernest Todoran to make the kick off. The supporters of MIT Craiova booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel David didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Glodeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Tutunaru having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Cristinel David was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remus Pinczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Petrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Mandoiu came free, but Remus Pinczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Tutunaru made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Emil Glodeanu sent off a good shot on target. Olimpiu Tutunaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Glodeanu in the 78th minute. Remus Pinczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in LIVIUS UNITED MLS's zone, Emil Glodeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olimpiu Tutunaru came out of the goal and Emil Glodeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Emil Glodeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Olimpiu Tutunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Glodeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olimpiu Tutunaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Glodeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Olimpiu Tutunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Glodeanu in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Mandoiu in the 94th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Remus Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Ernest Todoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIT Craiova were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
