The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claudiu Geantă took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Ştiubei. Aurelian Ştiubei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 7 minutes, Luca Magherescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buciumii and the The Huns players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudiu Geantă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Aurelian Ştiubei made a huge save. 10 minutes into the game, Silviu Bârsan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Buciumii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Huns the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Silviu Bârsan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Romeo Oprișan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sandu Ţopescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Taşcău in the 14th minute of play. Aurelian Ştiubei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Șeimeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hunor Adam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Magherescu was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luca Magherescu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Iustin Perșa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelian Ştiubei, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Șeimeanu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Ştiubei saved FC Buciumii from getting behind. Aurelian Ştiubei acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iustin Perșa. In the 38th match minute, FC Buciumii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Dinescu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei got control of the ball when Claudiu Geantă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hunor Adam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Hunor Adam got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to FC Buciumii getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sebastian Giubelean hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Giubelean to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, The Huns's Martin Dascălu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Huns reached it. In the 54th minute, Tudor Șeimeanu made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. FC Buciumii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Aurelian Ştiubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Geantă in the 57th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Petru Plopeanu. Hunor Adam kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Claudiu Geantă struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Huns. 67 minutes into the game, Iustin Perșa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Huns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buciumii the free kick. In the 68th minute, Iustin Perșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play FC Buciumii's Petru Plopeanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aurelian Ştiubei was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, FC Buciumii's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Ignea came free, but Aurelian Ştiubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Huns's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hunor Adam in the 83rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Hunor Adam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelian Ştiubei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 90 minutes into the match, FC Buciumii's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Șeimeanu came free, but Aurelian Ştiubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
