Gelu Cornoiu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Octavian Gaciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Atahan Kutbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Atahan Kutbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 15th minute of play. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Marioara in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute -BZF- Petrolul Berca were awarded a corner. Dong Xiong went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dong Xiong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimir Kramnik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Gelu Cornoiu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Shi Jing Feng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Kramnik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Jing Feng got free with Vladimir Kramnik in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Shi Jing Feng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vladimir Kramnik was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Basarab Stanciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Basarab Stanciu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Vladimir Kramnik made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Antonio Olivieri sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatoly Karpov in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Kutbay saved -BZF- Petrolul Berca from getting behind. After 44 minutes, José Capablanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Capablanca to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when -BZF- Petrolul Berca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Chen Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Albertinho Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Felix Lucaci got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Dong Xiong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -BZF- Petrolul Berca reached it. In the 59th minute Albertinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Jing Feng in the 81st minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Jing Feng in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Jing Feng in the 90th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Gaciu during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavian Gaciu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 93rd minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Atahan Kutbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
