Tanek Jucha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Cielencki in the 5th minute of play forced AP Tempo's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Siekierka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Siekierka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Misiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, MS Rybnik's Edward Walentowicz got control of the ball when Tanek Jucha tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, AP Tempo's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Misiewicz came free, but Eugeniusz Siekierka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Cielencki scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugeniusz Siekierka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Slazak kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Aleksander Ludwiczak came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the AP Tempo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Ludwiczak couldn't finish the play. Edward Walentowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Pilarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Edward Walentowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Kostka in the 32nd minute. If Aleksander Ludwiczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Tanek Jucha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Walentowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Jucha in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Tanek Jucha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AP Tempo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Jucha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Walentowicz was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Aleksander Ludwiczak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aleksander Ludwiczak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cezary Kostka was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes, AP Tempo's Cezary Kostka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Walentowicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AP Tempo reached it. In the 54th minute, Aleksander Ludwiczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Walentowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. AP Tempo's Tanek Jucha got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Jastrowicz in the 62nd minute of play forced AP Tempo's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Siekierka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Tanek Jucha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AP Tempo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tanek Jucha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AP Tempo booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Dobrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, AP Tempo's Tanek Jucha made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Walentowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugeniusz Siekierka didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. Eugeniusz Siekierka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogumil Misiewicz went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the game, MS Rybnik's Bogumil Misiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugeniusz Siekierka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. Boguslaw Jastrowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Siekierka having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslaw Klejnowski during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antoni Dziatkowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eugeniusz Siekierka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Aleksander Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Walentowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MS Rybnik eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
