Thanks to some nice moves Borys Pruss could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Marek Gdowik however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's zone, Edward Laba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Gdowik came out of the goal and Edward Laba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marek Gdowik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Pruss in the 12th minute of the match. Marek Gdowik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Pruss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Wlodzimierz Lewkowicz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Marek Gdowik made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Kacper Fetor sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Marek Gdowik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Laba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Fetor in the 25th minute of play forced ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Marek Gdowik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Iwaszko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Fetor came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marek Gdowik could save by the left post. Marek Gdowik acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Borys Pruss. Marek Gdowik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Pruss in the 34th minute of the match. Marek Gdowik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Laba in the 35th minute. Damian Banaszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marek Gdowik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Borys Pruss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marek Gdowik. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arkadiusz Zaworski was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Przemyslaw Frankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Gdowik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Gdowik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Fetor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Jedrzej Rojewski fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's protests and gave Jedrzej Rojewski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jedrzej Rojewski hit a great ball. Borys Pruss struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Marek Gdowik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SMOCZANKA MIELEC. Franciszek Iwaszko's late challenge caught a SMOCZANKA MIELEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Przemyslaw Frankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Gdowik having to interfere. After 64 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Fetor. 68 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Laba came free, but Marek Gdowik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Fetor. The crowd rose to their feet as ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Kazimierz Miazga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zygmunt Gniech. That made the score 2-1 after 71 minutes of play. Marek Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Frankowski in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Borys Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Gdowik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Karol Sidorowicz. In the 81st minute Stasio Marosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wlodzimierz Lewkowicz in the 83rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalie and right to Kazimierz Miazga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marek Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Fetor in the 86th minute of play. Edward Laba scored 3-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marek Gdowik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Kacper Fetor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marek Gdowik. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kacper Fetor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 95 minutes, Przemyslaw Frankowski made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Marek Gdowik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that SMOCZANKA MIELEC were the better team. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
