The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tymoteusz Harendarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2kC Poznań's Eugeniusz Wachna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Sienkiewicz in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, FC POLMOTOR TCZEW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Burdalski to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Wachna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Tyski in the 15th minute of play. When Lucjan Sokol came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the 2kC Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Sokol couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, 2kC Poznań's Eugeniusz Wachna got control of the ball when Stanislaw Sienkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugeniusz Wachna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Tyski in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes 2kC Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Burdalski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Adam Burdalski to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugeniusz Wachna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. In the 38th minute Tymoteusz Harendarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugeniusz Wachna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stanislaw Sienkiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislaw Sienkiewicz got free with Eugeniusz Wachna in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 45 minutes, Bartlomiej Michna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartlomiej Michna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 48th minute of play forced FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's goalkeeper Kryspin Michna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piotrek Michna was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 54th minute of play forced FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's goalkeeper Kryspin Michna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute 2kC Poznań were awarded a corner. Edgar Turak went to the cornerflag to take it. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Kazimierz Kociniewski replaced Marek Buczko. In the 68th minute, Stanislaw Sienkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugeniusz Wachna was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 74th minute Stanislaw Sienkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Wachna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Lucjan Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoslaw Banach hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Radoslaw Banach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Michna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Sokol in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW fully deserved thier win.
