The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tagadi's Jan Lehto got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toomas Mustkivi might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Lebirk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toomas Mustkivi ran back to his position shaking his head. Toomas Mustkivi scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Lebirk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toomas Mustkivi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Lebirk having to make a save. Tomas Lebirk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ando Rakso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Kaspar Pahasoo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tagadi's protests and gave Kaspar Pahasoo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Kaspar Pahasoo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toomas Mustkivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Lebirk having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Tagadi's Kristofer Noorsalu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Lebirk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st minute Kristofer Noorsalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Lebirk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Toomas Mustkivi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Lebirk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Lebirk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristofer Noorsalu in the 40th minute of the match. Ando Rakso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Lebirk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Jan Lehto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Toomas Mustkivi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Memphis Troldahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raivo Püss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tagadi defense, Memphis Reinsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raivo Püss. The Tagadi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raivo Püss should have stopped the shot. The End's Tomas Lebirk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Lehto in the 61st minute of play. When Eric Refning fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The End's protests and gave Eric Refning a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The End getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eric Refning hit a great ball. If Toomas Mustkivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rudolf Honga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Toomas Mustkivi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Lebirk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristofer Noorsalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toomas Mustkivi in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Lebirk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Toomas Mustkivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Lehto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Lebirk having to interfere. When Toomas Mustkivi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tagadi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toomas Mustkivi couldn't finish the play. Jan Lehto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Tomas Lebirk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofer Noorsalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Toomas Mustkivi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 minutes, Gustav Kastaniegaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The End and the Tagadi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tagadi's Andri Asi was substituted for Jan Lehto. When the final whistle sounded Tagadi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The End.
