In the 5th minute, Dominic Beale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Globo Red getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dominic Beale hit a great ball. Alec Parslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Harder in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Moxon in the 9th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Gulstorff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Nygren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alec Parslow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Don Bray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Andreas Gulstorff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Beale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Gulstorff having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Benjamin Nygren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alec Parslow. The Globo Red's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Nygren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alec Parslow made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dimitar Berbatov sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Don Bray. Eberhardt Sarbak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of FC Nordsjælland:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Globo Red:s goal. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for The Globo Red. Seth Sugden stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andreas Gulstorff. 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Dominic Beale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Gulstorff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Sugden in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. FC Nordsjælland's Jeppe Tverskov was substituted for Paul Caniggia. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Paul Caniggia got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Conrad Harder made the kick off in the second half. If Dimitar Berbatov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alec Parslow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Harder in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Moxon in the 59th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Gulstorff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Nordsjælland were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after The Globo Red's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Svensson took the corner. FC Nordsjælland's Conrad Harder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alec Parslow in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Freddie Græsborg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Gulstorff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominic Beale's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andreas Gulstorff firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 84th minute, Conrad Harder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. FC Nordsjælland's Daniel Svensson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Globo Red. Alec Parslow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Globo Red walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
