Konstantínus Arnleifsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juhan Allikvee in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Olari Mõniste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kogimyae JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olari Mõniste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Olari Mõniste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantínus Arnleifsson was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Reyrsson in the 24th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Li Feng Guo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Akranes booed when Kogimyae JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Kaldalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantínus Arnleifsson had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Jaagup Aal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Abraham Reyrsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Li Feng Guo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juhan Allikvee to maneuver through the defense. Akranes's Guðfreður Játmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Abraham Reyrsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akranes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Reyrsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kogimyae JK were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Akranes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaagup Aal took the corner. The corner led Kogimyae JK's Jaan Näksi to a score. 1-3 in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaan Näksi to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Taavi Ööbik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kogimyae JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Taavi Ööbik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantínus Arnleifsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kogimyae JK's Taavi Ööbik got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Akranes got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Reyrsson. Konstantínus Arnleifsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Viljaste in the 68th minute. Akranes's Konstantínus Arnleifsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olari Mõniste in the 86th minute of play. Li Feng Guo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mjölnir Vilmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jaan Näksi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Konstantínus Arnleifsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kogimyae JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
