After 4 minutes of play, The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunvald Glarkrog was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Strib Galacticos IF's zone, Asle Seierstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunvald Glarkrog came out of the goal and Asle Seierstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Marian Banas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunvald Glarkrog was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th minute, Nicolaus Avnstorp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Banas in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunvald Glarkrog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Banas scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunvald Glarkrog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Banas came free, but Gunvald Glarkrog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Nerd Herd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ken Teige in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Nerd Herd's zone, Hagbard Ribov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Bergo came out of the goal and Hagbard Ribov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Banas in the 47th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Banas to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Banas got free with Gunvald Glarkrog in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunvald Glarkrog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marian Banas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Kofoed didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Banas got free with Gunvald Glarkrog in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes, Nicolaus Avnstorp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the The Nerd Herd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66thth minute of the game Marian Banas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog got control of the ball when Marian Banas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lars Bergo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Hafjall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Eske Aggervild mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the The Nerd Herd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Eske Aggervild. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Banas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunvald Glarkrog. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikardt Kirkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ken Teige could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gunvald Glarkrog made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as The Nerd Herd's Ken Teige slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunvald Glarkrog. That made the score 0-8 after 94 minutes of play. The Nerd Herd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
