The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when AC Farsaebarca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Dansted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jann Kaindl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harold Hjelton. AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolland Sallai was the one to do the kick off. Ole Per Schikaneder was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Harold Hjelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Lischka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Rolland Sallai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harold Hjelton. Rolland Sallai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Bjarne Holstebro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AC Farsaebarca's Bjarne Holstebro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ole Per Schikaneder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uffe Ingvald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Flecken having to interfere. With a little luck, AC Farsaebarca's Harold Hjelton got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Benny Dörfler was substituted for Kenneth Schmidt. After 88 minutes AC Farsaebarca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gert Heuchel who took care of the corner kick. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Ole Per Schikaneder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Harold Hjelton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, AC Farsaebarca's Harold Hjelton got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The AC Farsaebarca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
