The ball had pretty good speed, but Stathis Ipsilantis firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Lapokhσri getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paraskevas Rovolis hit a great ball. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nektarios Kontopoulos in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, MONAXOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avraam Karavokiris to maneuver through the defense. Fotis Stamatakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Stathis Ipsilantis made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Fotis Stamatakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stathis Ipsilantis. The goal made the score 3-0. Avraam Karavokiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, MONAXOS's Fotis Stamatakos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 33 minutes into the match, Fotis Stamatakos notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis got control of the ball when Avraam Karavokiris tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, MONAXOS's Stathis Ipsilantis threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fotis Stamatakos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fotis Stamatakos to make the kick off. The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. Stathis Ipsilantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Karkantos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Themis Koulakidis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match.
