Marin Duna kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Markos Kokotoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eraldo Cannone having to make a save. After 7 played minutes Luponero FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Castellazzi. Anfilogino Mannucci hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigoris Ntinopoulos during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in RO Army V55 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! After having played for 21 minutes, Vaggelis Zimaras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RO Army V55's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Zimaras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ntinos Bogdanos fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Ntinos Bogdanos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Giannis Katsadramis hit a great ball. Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Zimaras in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. Luponero FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thodoris Tabakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. RO Army V55's Vaggelis Zimaras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eraldo Cannone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35thth minute of the game Markos Kokotoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Daniele Fiore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Zimaras came free, but Eraldo Cannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Zimaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Cannone having to interfere. Markos Kokotoulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Cannone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markos Kokotoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Vaggelis Zimaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. RO Army V55's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaggelis Zimaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Cannone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Kokotoulis in the 52nd minute of play forced Luponero FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Cannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markos Kokotoulis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 52nd playminute. In the 55th minute, Vaggelis Zimaras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Markos Kokotoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. RO Army V55's supporters rose to their feet, but Markos Kokotoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Cannone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Zimaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Eraldo Cannone made a huge save. Vaggelis Zimaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Cannone having to interfere. If Vaggelis Zimaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Luponero FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone got control of the ball when Vaggelis Zimaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. RO Army V55 were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Luponero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thodoris Tabakis took the corner. In the 81st minute RO Army V55 were awarded a corner. Thodoris Tabakis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luponero FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Cannone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eraldo Cannone acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Thodoris Tabakis. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Marin Duna got a free kick in the 87th minute. Eraldo Cannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Kokotoulis in the 90th minute of play. If Markos Kokotoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
