After a defensive mix-up in BRAL VAL's zone, Moussa Blanquart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Iacovella came out of the goal and Moussa Blanquart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Les Pionniers de Touraine's attentive Moïse Robbe managed to snatch the ball when Fabiano Africano made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Angelo Pesce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jean-Pascal Berthelot fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Pionniers de Touraine's protests and gave Jean-Pascal Berthelot a yellow card for diving instead. Ettore Iacovella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moussa Blanquart, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moussa Blanquart in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Iacovella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Ettore Iacovella managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Les Pionniers de Touraine's Moussa Blanquart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ettore Iacovella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moussa Blanquart, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moussa Blanquart in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Iacovella saved BRAL VAL from getting behind. A collision led to Les Pionniers de Touraine getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jean-Pierre Morineau hit a great ball. Ettore Iacovella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moussa Blanquart in the 63rd minute of the match. If Jean-Pierre Morineau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Moussa Blanquart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moussa Blanquart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
