Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) La Pointe Courte's Thibaut Mazieres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Pinti came free, but Sabri Fouquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes, Antonello Tofani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eurospeed Asti and the La Pointe Courte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Eurospeed Asti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Tofani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabien Gouraud hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Antonello Tofani took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Fouquet. Sabri Fouquet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sabri Fouquet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Pietrantoni's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Grail's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Battisti was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes Eurospeed Asti got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Borromeo. Sabri Fouquet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Gherase, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The Eurospeed Asti fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Eurospeed Asti's Antonello Tofani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Pinti in the 44th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Elia Pietrantoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabri Fouquet was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Raymond Lherbier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pointe Courte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eurospeed Asti the free kick. In the 47th minute, Fortunato Borromeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Pinti made a kick off. Fortunato Borromeo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sabri Fouquet came out and tried to block the shot, but Fortunato Borromeo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. Federico Chiesa took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Fouquet. Sabri Fouquet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 61 minutes of play, Eurospeed Asti's Fortunato Borromeo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabri Fouquet was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Pointe Courte's Wilfried Mahé was substituted for Jérôme Leloup. Sabri Fouquet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Irø, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Pinti in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fausto Pinti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabri Fouquet was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Fortunato Borromeo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sabri Fouquet, 0-8. In the 85th minute, Antonello Tofani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sabri Fouquet, passed just outside the right post. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Eurospeed Asti's Fausto Pinti. But to his dismay, Fausto Pinti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Sabri Fouquet didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Irø in the 94th minute of play. If Fortunato Borromeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurospeed Asti played a much better game than La Pointe Courte and deserved their victory. The La Pointe Courte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
