Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dionysis Papageorgopoulos started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Piatas. A hard shot 11 in the game by Filippos Kopelis from a close distance when the talented Stergios Samartzis managed to make a qualified save. Kolopetinitsa's players were relieved. Stergios Samartzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Koutsokefalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match, Filippos Kopelis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stergios Samartzis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chrisostomos Koutas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Psaris in the 25th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pantelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eutichios Psaris scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When GREEN LIONS's Ignatios Papachronakis in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filippos Koutsokefalakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Samartzis having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Eutichios Psaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolopetinitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eutichios Psaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 53rd minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Piatas's late challenge caught a Kolopetinitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kostas Piatas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Kostas Piatas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Ignatios Papachronakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stergios Samartzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Ignatios Papachronakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kolopetinitsa's Stergios Samartzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN LIONS from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Vallin in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eutichios Psaris in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Pantelidis saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. After 71 minutes, Filippos Kopelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GREEN LIONS and the Kolopetinitsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Filippos Kopelis got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Ignatios Papachronakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEN LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Papachronakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaggelis Pantelidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Psaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Loukoumas. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Vaggelis Lazopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEN LIONS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaggelis Lazopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Samartzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignatios Papachronakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stergios Samartzis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Ignatios Papachronakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stergios Samartzis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
