A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Steve Mur hit a great ball. CD Boiro's Walme Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiano Dean in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Lluis Durango got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telmo Morales during the 24th minute. In the 36th minute Maximiano Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, John Palomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Boiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eladio Jofre made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Lluis Durango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Boiro and the Nubecitas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes CD Boiro got a freekick which was hit by Lluis Durango. After some careless play in the Nubecitas FC defense, Adán Cuevas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Novo. The Nubecitas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Novo should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goalkeeper Walme Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eladio Jofre. Adán Cuevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alejandro Novo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Boiro's Walme Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiano Dean in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiano Dean came free, but Walme Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walme Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiano Dean in the 78th minute of play. CD Boiro's Lluis Durango got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Lluis Durango off the ground. Lluis Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Eladio Jofre kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alejandro Novo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Palomar in the 83rd minute of play. CD Boiro's John Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Florian Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Boiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD Boiro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nubecitas FC for a fine match.
