Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvério Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrício Tavares during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Sporting Tuga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvério Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Espírito Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Delfim Vilas Boas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Pimentel in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Hélder Pimentel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Delfim Vilas Boas to make any attempt to save it. Humberto Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Vasconcelos in the 14th minute of play. Américo Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Danilo Brás with Diego Caiado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas got control of the ball when Reinaldo Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Espírito Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Borba. If Silvério Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Pimentel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Américo Vasconcelos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Humberto Espírito Santo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Silvério Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Espírito Santo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute of the match MZ Fénix got a corner. Sporting Tuga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severino Camargo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvério Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto Espírito Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Vasconcelos in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Silvério Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Espírito Santo. Sporting Tuga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Danilo Brás hit a great ball. Lázaro Oliveira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 94th playminute. The Sporting Tuga FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MZ Fénix's performance. The match ended with a win for MZ Fénix.
