Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcio Carreira in the 4th minute of play. Xano Menendez made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Nicolas Queirós sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Gică Popescu. Américo Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xano Menendez. Xano Menendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 15 minutes, Severino Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Fénix and the FCSB CUENCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Camargo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Silvério Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xano Menendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 21st minute of play forced FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper Xano Menendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after FCSB CUENCA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Camargo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Severino Camargo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xano Menendez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MZ Fénix's Silvério Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Américo Vasconcelos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xano Menendez. The goal made the score 2-0. After 35 minutes of play MZ Fénix's Severino Camargo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Américo Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Belchior Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcio Carreira to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Josué Câmara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Fénix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCSB CUENCA the free kick. 65 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Vasconcelos came free, but Xano Menendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Nicolas Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xano Menendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nicolas Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Queirós couldn't finish the play. MZ Fénix's Nicolas Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xano Menendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Manuel Navarro hit a great ball. MZ Fénix's Filipe Mourato was substituted for Cássio Vilarinho. MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira was substituted for Silvério Vasconcelos. 88 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Nicolas Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xano Menendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. FCSB CUENCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 97 minutes in the game Manuel Navarro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Pujol. MZ Fénix's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
