Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Echavarri in the 9th minute of play. If Geronimo Jofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, George Echavarri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil. Nicolao Sampil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolao Sampil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, George Echavarri made a precise shot to the right of Nicolao Sampil. Club Getafe Deportivo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Vegetti came free, but Nicolao Sampil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Viejo to make the kick off. Nicolao Sampil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Casco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. Club Getafe Deportivo's Nicolao Sampil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Club Getafe Deportivo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Casco got free with Nicolao Sampil in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Geronimo Jofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Vilanova made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valdo Viejo immediately put the ball in play.
