After 9 played minutes Blue avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Kubrat Shehtanov. After having played for 10 minutes, Arnout Zwiers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prichart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnout Zwiers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kliment Penushliev in the 17th minute of play forced Prichart's goalkeeper Jan Vrieze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prichart's Jan Vrieze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetomir Kúrchev in the 21st minute of play. Jan Vrieze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kliment Penushliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Blue avalanche booed when Prichart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Rein Ostermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Vrieze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kliment Penushliev in the 37th minute of the match. Tzvetomir Kúrchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Vrieze having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Arnout Zwiers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prichart's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnout Zwiers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignat Tunchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prichart's Elco Naaijer got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tzvetomir Kúrchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Vrieze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kliment Penushliev in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blue avalanche's zone, Dolf Jongsma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Elco Naaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prichart's supporters rose to their feet, but Elco Naaijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignat Tunchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Prichart players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
