UFC Pivnica's Pavol Kresák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volodymyr Ovcharenko in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Volodymyr Ovcharenko rounded UFC Pivnica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pavol Kresák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko in the 10th minute of play. Pavol Kresák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pavol Kresák had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Volodymyr Ovcharenko from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 31 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Pavol Kresák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yarema Melaschenko. In the 32nd match minute, FC VERSHINA’dnipro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yarema Melaschenko to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volodymyr Ovcharenko in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavol Kresák saved UFC Pivnica from getting behind. The supporters of FC VERSHINA’dnipro booed when UFC Pivnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Sobota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yarema Melaschenko struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pavol Kresák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VERSHINA’dnipro. Pavol Kresák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volodymyr Ovcharenko was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Kušnír came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edvin van der Sar could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute Juraj Gross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC VERSHINA’dnipro booed when UFC Pivnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Orgován didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavol Kresák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UFC Pivnica's Daniel Kušnír got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the UFC Pivnica defense, Volodymyr Ovcharenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavol Kresák. The UFC Pivnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavol Kresák should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC VERSHINA’dnipro's zone, Antón Kočiš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Sar came out of the goal and Antón Kočiš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yarema Melaschenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pavol Kresák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goal looked a bit too open when Antón Kočiš came free, but Edvin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC VERSHINA’dnipro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UFC Pivnica for a fine match.
