Molkwerum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remco Van Mellaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Vranx in the 14th minute of play forced Molkwerum's goalkeeper Sander Elders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Gery Ceustermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niki Van Huytvenne in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sander Elders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sander Elders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco Van Mellaert in the 43rd minute of the match. Simon Smeekes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Koninkx in the 47th minute of play forced Molkwerum's goalkeeper Sander Elders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elco Zwart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Gery Ceustermans made a precise shot to the right of Sander Elders. With an all-out effort, Dark Energy's Sander Elders threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gery Ceustermans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sander Elders made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Remco Van Mellaert sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Gery Ceustermans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sander Elders, 0-13. Sander Elders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niki Van Huytvenne in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Remco Van Mellaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Energy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. 74 minutes into the match, Molkwerum's goalkeeper Sander Elders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remco Van Mellaert. In the 76th minute, Dark Energy's Niki Van Huytvenne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. In the 79th minute Remco Van Mellaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sander Elders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Molkwerum's Sander Elders got control of the ball when Niki Van Huytvenne tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constant Decock in the 89th minute of play forced Molkwerum's goalkeeper Sander Elders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sander Elders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binjamin Decock in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Dark Energy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Molkwerum.
