The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfréd Marton got free with Mats Van Elsen in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mats Van Elsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Szabó in the 7th minute of the match. Johny Van Laeck charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johny Van Laeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fox Hunting Squad getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Johny Van Laeck hit a great ball. Mats Van Elsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfréd Marton in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia CF Mindszent's zone, Dikdik Dik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lajos Révész came out of the goal and Dikdik Dik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoltán Vadász's late challenge caught a Fox Hunting Squad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoltán Vadász helped the player get up and apologised. Lajos Révész showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dikdik Dik, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute, Dikdik Dik made a precise shot to the right of Lajos Révész. Valencia CF Mindszent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Dikdik Dik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Révész was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Mēness in the 38th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Mats Van Elsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dikdik Dik couldn't finish the play. After the first half Fox Hunting Squad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dikdik Dik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mats Van Elsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Mēness in the 54th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Zoltán Vadász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Van Elsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Mēness came free, but Mats Van Elsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Dávid Szabó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Valencia CF Mindszent booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Landewijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Zsolt Mēness made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Van Elsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valencia CF Mindszent had won after a very even match.
